From a lighthouse balance, spin the ken a half-turn around the ball's axis and guide the tama down into a cup. Balance meets catch, seamlessly.
How it's done

Land a lighthouse and hold it steady.

Rotate the ken smoothly 180° around the spike-tip axis inside the ball's hole.

As the cups swing down, guide the ball into the big cup.

Catch and reset.
